      LEAD ACID RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES

 

Main application 

1.     Backup power supply for UPS and emergency illumination, communication and signal systems as in industries of railway, telecommunication, mobile communications, etc..

2.   DC power supply and backup power supply in electricity utility and nuclear power stations, energy storage system for solar/wind generated power. 

Structural Characteristics 

1 .    The battery electrolyte contains fumed silica and there is no flow, no leakage or no gradation of sulphuric acid. The battery can be put horizontally or vertically. There is no risk of leakage during the utilization and transportation, and it is safe and reliable.

2.     Excessive gel electrolyte used in the battery, so it has large heat capacity and good radiation performance, will not generate thermal runaway, thus enable it to work under severe environment.

3.     Tubular positive plate: The skeleton of positive plate is shaped through die-casting with Pb-Ca alloy, adopts parallel terylene tube structure, can effectively prevent the active material from falling off, and has a good property of anti-corrosion. The pasted negative plate with grid in radial structure, and unique lead paste formula, is favorable for improving the utilization rate of active materials and is favorable for discharging at large current. All above ensures battery with such good properties as Perfect recovery performance of battery recharging after deep discharging; Excellent cycle and duration performance, Sufficient capacity and Long life.

4.     Adopt PVC-Si02 separator produced by European AMER-SIL Co., with tiny holes and is made specially for gel battery. This separator features high porosity, low internal resistance, ensures low internal resistance of battery.

5 .    The valve will open and close at a constant pressure, and is highly reliable, thus to prevent the battery case from swelling, breaking, and electrolyte from drying out.

6.     The ABS case and lids are imported from Italy, sealing resin imported from Germany, so as to prevent battery from electrolyte leakage or air penetration.

Main Technical Parameters

1.     The battery has a long service life, under float charging, ambient temp. 25°C, it can operate 12-15 years. Its cycle service life is long.

2.     The battery has a low self-discharge. After stored under ambient temp . 20°C for two years , the battery can still keep over 60 of the rated capacity.
